ARSENE WENGER insists Thierry Henry must produce the goods for Arsenal to
stand a chance of beating Real Madrid.
The Gunners go into tonight's Champions League last-16 clash at the Bernabeu
in the worst form of Wenger's 10-year reign.
And Highbury boss Wenger said: “We need a big game from Thierry in Madrid,
that's for sure. We cannot afford for him not to have one.
"I don't go with the belief that he only performs against the lesser clubs
and not the biggest ones.
“If you look at his record, it is remarkable — he is in the top three
Champions League goalscorers. But the expectations from Thierry are always so
high.
“He wants to commit to the club for a longer period and he won't want to
spend too long not playing in the Champions League.But I'm confident we will
be in it again next season.”
Come On Captain Thierry!!!
