The Gunners' record goalscorer, 28, has less than two years left on his Highbury contract and is refusing to discuss a new deal with the club. Now he has claimed the club have never adequately replaced Patrick Vieira. "The most important thing was to make people forget Patrick Vieira left and try to go on a good run and catch Chelsea. We've not done that," he said. Arsenal have won three out of three Champions League games this season. But in the Premiership Arsene Wenger's side have suffered three defeats and are languishing in eighth place, 14 points behind Chelsea, albeit with one game in hand. "In the past I've been asked why we could do it in the Premiership but not in Europe. Now they're asking the other way round," Henry said. "Without looking for excuses, we've been missing and are still missing key players." The Frenchman, who this week overhauled Ian Wright's record goals tally, added: "Some clubs have international players sitting on the bench and in the stands, but we don't have that and it's frustrating." Henry has been linked with Barcelona and his latest comments will increase fears he is dissatisfied at Arsenal. The striker has also been at the centre of a dispute between Wenger and the French Football Federation over a charity game. That match between France and Costa Rica will raise money for air-crash victims and it will be played on Martinique, a Caribbean island where Henry's mother was born. Wenger will let Henry go, but he is unhappy at the player travelling so far during the Premiership season. But Henry said: "It would be an immense pleasure to play in Martinique. I can't see myself missing this match. I hope that Arsene will understand that it's very important for me." 其實算一算槍手陣容裡面的現役且常被徵召的成年國家隊國腳，只有十二個（我還把勞倫算進去），比曼聯少五個，比契爾西少八個。看來要留住亨利可不是一紙高薪合約這麼簡單，亨利也要看到球會與溫格在加強陣容上的企圖心。感覺上亨利是有點間接回應，溫格日前指出是國家隊賽事讓槍手傷兵大增的談話（溫格說就算Vieira跟Edu現在在槍手，也難保不會像現在各在祖文與瓦倫一樣受傷）。其實常常有球迷說，球員不能比球會還大(No player is bigger than the club)，但是很難想像亨利離開槍手，尤其搬到新球場後，總之，球會高層跟溫格多加加油，一月很關鍵，真的很關鍵。 -- Because right now this is Henry's world...
