The Gunners skipper returned from a nagging groin injury to equal and then break Ian Wright's 185-goal club record against Sparta Prague on Tuesday in a 2-0 Champions League victory. The Arsenal talisman has admitted the likes of Robin van Persie, Jose Antonio Reyes and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie all have the potential to be just as good as him - but must be prepared to learn. Talking to Arsenal TV Online, the France international said: "One thing you can't teach to players is mentality and desire. "Robin is like a lot of our young players at the moment, like Jose and Quincy - individually they are frightening with what they can do with the ball. "I was the same when I was young, more thinking about being elegant and doing skills and soon they will realise you only exist in the game when you are efficient. "I hope for them they are going to realise that really soon. "I didn't have the ability they have now at their age. But it's a matter of being aware that in football you need to be efficient." Henry admitted that as captain and senior striker at Highbury he offers advice to the younger players. "Everyone has their own way to play, they all have their own styles. That's why they are doing what they are doing," he added. "If a guy doesn't want to take advice on board it's up to him but I always try to say what I feel, 'be careful with this, or that'. "Sometimes the guy who makes it quicker is the guy who is able to listen. "Quincy is the special talent. We have youngsters who are really great but to make the next step is to be efficient and keep working." One of those youngsters will be expected to make the step up next season when veteran forward Dennis Bergkamp finally retires after a glittering career. And Henry realises it will be difficult to fill the Dutchman's shoes. "It's easy because what you see with Dennis is what you get. He's not the type of guy to do stepovers or skill but I like it when Dennis plays with me because as soon as I move he gives me the ball," said Henry. "It's a dream for a striker. Whatever the move is he tries to give me the ball as soon as he can." Manager Arsene Wenger will be without a number of first-team players for the trip north to face in-form Manchester City.
