主要在說Gilbert是本季教授使用的第五個左後衛，
還有教授對他的debut表現很滿意，尤其是在一對一的狀況下，
雖然可能在左邊有點跛腳感覺，可是那本來就不是他習慣的位置，所以沒關係；
教授相信他以後會在右後衛的位置上有所表現。

Arsene Wenger used his fifth different left-back of the season in the
Carling Cup win over Reading - 18-year-old Kerrea Gilbert.
The Hammersmith-born defender is actually a right-back by trade and has
been a regular fixture in the Reserves’ line-up for most of this season.
But he now joins Pascal Cygan and Lauren as one of three makeshift
left-backs used by Wenger this term.
With Ashley Cole and his deputy Gael Clichy both injured, Lauren given
the night off and Cygan rested from the starting line-up, it was an
interesting selection by Wenger — but one he had no qualms in making.
“I like Kerrea because he is a winner and a fighter,” said Wenger.
“I told him [Gilbert] not to worry and just to ‘play as well as you
can - I know it’s not your position.’”
And Wenger was pleased with Gilbert’s response on the pitch.
“For me he did very well, especially in the one-on-ones and was good
tactically as well. Of course, going forward on the left he was a little
bit handicapped, but I’m very pleased with his game.”
According to the boss, this particular Young Gun may well one day mature
to make the Arsenal right-back berth his own
“He is a bit young at the moment, he was one of the youngest players out
there, only 18, but as a right-back he certainly has a future.”
