Lupoli, a prolific striker at reserve level, has joined Derby County on a season-long loan deal, turning down the overtures of West Brom, who were just as keen to land the 19-year-old. "It's been no secret that we have been tracking Arturo for some time," Derby managing director Mike Horton told the club's official website. "It's been a six-week vigil for us and, in recent days, other clubs have expressed an interest in him so we're delighted he chose Derby County to continue his progression." Meanwhile, 18-year-old goalkeeper Mannone has joined Barnsley on a three month loan deal in an effort to gain some valuable firt-team experience. 兩個義大利小將被租到英冠球隊去之前 Preston和 WBA對他也很有興趣，不過 Lupoli最後去了德比郡本來聽說 Lupoli自己不是很想被租出去但是可能考量到他留在隊上也是要排在Ali之後當第五前鋒還要擔心在伯明罕很紅的 Bendtner 所以還是出去了，租到球季結束為止他上季在一隊5場進1球，預備隊+U-18 15場進17球上上季在一隊4場進2球，預備隊+U-18 32場進27球另一個在預備隊很受寵的義大利年輕門將 Mannone則是去了 Barnsley (http://www.arsenal.com/images/players/60241.jpg?t=1) 他上季在預備隊和U-18共出賽了17場，是出賽最多的門將不過他只有租三個月，到11月為止可能是考量到如果 Almunia和 Poom有人受傷的話，需要一個第三號門將吧畢竟 Mark Howard和 Michael Jordan都轉隊了要再從青訓系統拉小將上來不容易租出去之後第四門將首選會是 Lee Butcher (http://www.arsenal.com/images/players/60249.jpg?t=1) -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.216.1.134
