Thierry admits: I can be a pig

THIERRY HENRY admits he can be "a pig" to deal with.
The Arsenal skipper yesterday met Arsene Wenger for clear-the-air talks over
his injury problems.
Henry will be out for at least a month although he hopes to be playing again
in time for the FA Cup third-round clash at Liverpool at the start of January.
The strike star, 29, is upset, though, by attacks from unnamed France
team-mates, past and present.
Henry was accused of being so conceited he could not stand criticism and it
was even suggested he had organized it so David Trezeguet, his only rival in
the race to overhaul Michel Platini's goal record, was sidelined.
He said: "Quite simply, it is true I can be a pig! It is not a lie to say
that. Sometimes, I feel that I am in the right even when I am wrong.
"But it seems I've been set up. I find it a shame people should sink that
low. And then it's very brave to speak anonymously. It's nonsense."
After talking to Wenger, Henry now accepts a break would be in his own
interests as he hopes to cure a problem with his sciatic nerve.
He said: "The club has the same ambitions as me. Regarding the recruitment in
the summer, my confidence was not betrayed. I am at Arsenal for life. I will
not go to Barcelona.
"I've been suffering with a hamstring injury for two or three months and the
pain has got worse with the return of sciatica. I have to call a halt for a
month, even a month and a half, the time it takes for the pain to disappear.
"At some stage after 60 games in 2006, the body says stop and you have to
listen to it. So yes, I am annoyed because I cannot help my team on the
pitch. It's something I have trouble accepting."
Wenger, meanwhile, insists he always feels the pressure as Gunners boss.
He goes into tomorrow's Champions League clash at Porto knowing a point will
guarantee his team a place in the knockout stages.
Wenger said: "We're in a tough group. CSKA Moscow, for example, were in first
place and now may not qualify.
"Portuguese teams are always hard to beat. And the Germans, as we've seen
from what Werder Bremen have done against Chelsea, also have quality. I
always feel under pressure.
"It would be bad if we didn't qualify but we have a good chance because CSKA
haven't beaten Hamburg yet.
"If we've beaten Porto here at home, then why shouldn't we also play to win
there? We won't be over-adventurous, but I've never said to my team 'go out
there to get a draw'."

追求完美有時甚至龜毛過度的人
攻擊他的聲音也一直沒少過
他自己也承認自己個性上的這部份
整個2006年下來~~他的賽事負擔太大了
(他搞不好是今年職業球員裡面場次負荷最多的人...??)
又傷又累又痛的~~好好的把身體調理一下真的是很需要
溫格也是蠻慘的~~尤其是遇到這麼密集頻繁的12月賽事(30天內9場比賽)
