The Frenchman has consistently said he is happy with his current squad. In 2006 he brought Emmanuel Adebayor, Theo Walcott, Abou Diaby, Tomas Rosicky, William Gallas, Julio Baptista and Denilson into his first team squad. No more will arrive at the start of 2007 but there may be players moving in the opposite direction. "We will not strengthen in January,” he said after Saturday’s game with Portsmouth. “We will definitely not strengthen.
