Owen, fighting his way back to fitness after suffering a circulate ligament injury during the World Cup in Germany, also admits to being an admirer of Chelsea's Andrei Shevchenko. Speaking exclusively in the February edition of the Sky Sports Magazine, Owen says: "The player that always impresses me is Thierry Henry. He's probably the best player to have ever graced the Premiership." The two have yet to come face-to-face in the Premiership this season but Owen is targeting a return in time to line-up against the Frenchman when Arsenal visit St James' Park on 9th April. "If it remains a steady progression I'm hoping to be back in April," said Owen. "But the real test will come when we get nearer the time." Should the England striker's rehabilitation go to plan then Owen could well play against Shevchenko's Chelsea before the season ends. The champions are also due to visit Newcastle in April. And Owen can't understand why the Ukrainian is getting such a hard time from his critics. "I'm a big fan of Shevchenko. It's amazing that people are questioning him. He is one of the greats of the modern game," Owen said.
