It is a knee-jerk reaction that does not have too much logic to it. Despite the rumours some at Arsenal think it may be time to cash in the chips. Whether this includes Arsene Wenger remains to be seen. Somehow you doubt it. Yes, the umbilical cord between the two has been stretched this season — never more than when Henry’s five-week ‘sabbatical’ was prefaced by his omission from the side that thumped Spurs 3-0 at the Emirates early in December. Henry was not happy. Wenger, in turn, was far from impressed when his captain advised buying Shaun Wright-Phillips. 原來亨利曾經建議溫格購買入SWP~~ (說真的,還沒變成水貨前的SWP真的頗適合我們家的打法...) But even the closest relationships have their ups and downs. I have a lot of sympathy for Henry, though no one doubts that he can be a pretty quirky individual. He takes everything so seriously, so personally. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as it does not lead to introspection and a loss of joie de vivre. At the same time, it was only a matter of time — he is now 29 — before Henry ’s body rebelled at the workload placed on it. Especially after an 11-month season in which he reached both the World Cup and Champions League finals. That left just two experienced outfield players, Henry and Gilberto Silva, to help bring on the kids. Jose Mourinho bemoans his lot, while Alex Ferguson will shortly discover how thin his squad is at the sharp end of the campaign. Yet Arsenal have struggled all season. The old eye-of-the-needle football has again been undermined by appalling finishing — especially from midfield. Yes, there are some outstanding youngsters but Wenger has to ensure this talent is turned into trophies. And quickly. 這句中肯~~!! Mourinho claimed a few weeks ago that he was not in the same fortunate position as Wenger. That Chelsea expected silverware every season. That he could not take a year or two out. It was a point well made. I believe Henry will return refreshed and fit, after a month or so on the beach, to be the force of old once again. But he cannot do it all on his own. It is up to the rest of the squad to play their part. 這陣子看了一些文章就屬這篇讓我的感觸最深~~也最貼切! 很多部分也都點到了重點我們今年的換血有點像是"搏大賭"(台語) 似乎就是鐵了心要把更多的位置留給新生代換血是好事~~能夠換血換的同時維持球隊的競爭力更是件不容易的事今年這樣換~~我也感覺是換的太過頭了如果無傷無痛也就罷了~~偏偏我們傷兵又嚴重傷了對老球員又傷了球迷的心回顧來看的話~~有兩個換人我覺得很傷: 1)為了把位置挪出來給雷耶,因此把小皮擠掉挪出來之後沒想到這傢伙竟然閃人~~把大家搞的天怒人怨,小皮+球迷難過的要死這時候R7 / H13再怎麼去補那個位置~~ 都補不出我們以往引以為傲左路攻勢的原汁原味了我們現在的左路~~實在沒啥沒特色 2)勞倫受傷,Eboue趁勢而起~~天賦極佳的他也沒讓大家失望右後衛頂的頭頭是道沒想到這傢伙最大的問題不是球技~~而是EQ 老躺在地上,場上脾氣又會暴衝真的是讓人搖頭... 我一直認為好的球隊在老中青三代的人員組成上~~是要維持著一個良好比例的這樣子的傳承也能做的比較順暢 (Bergy <--> RVP就是個不錯的例子) 目前的我們~~我是覺得明顯失衡了隊中有年資+經驗的人真的不多~~場上小毛頭的比例過重有時候難免遇到較多腦充血的情況如果多些資深的~~情況或許會好很多... 當然~~看到自己家的小孩子不斷的成長真的是讓人挺開心的不過拉拔年輕人的途中~~競爭力的維持也要顧及本季他們出色的表現當然有不過讓人提心吊膽,氣到牙癢癢的比賽~~我也可沒忘記時好時壞~~是我們到目前為止的縮影簡單來說,就是不穩剩兩個多月~~球季就結束了希望接下來的賽事~~我們能夠期待槍手有一些好的表現!! 加油! -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 59.120.208.168
