Clichy: My Teenage Kicks < 我的少年時代 > What did you do in your spare time? Except football I was doing a lot of bike with my friend. More when it was sunny, but yeah, I used to love bike and I still love bike. Unfortunately I'm not doing enough bike anymore, but bike is one of my passions. ** Who was your favourite teacher? That was a long time ago, but his name is Monsieur Math [Wah? Math? Clearly it's a French name and I can't speak French, so I don't know what he said.] He used to be really big, and dark hair, white skin... and really impressive. So I don't know if it was because I was seven/eight, but he was really impressive, and when you ask me my first teacher, that's the one who first came to mind. ** What did you want to be when you were at school? I only wanted to be a footballer, so that was my dream and the only thing I thought about. And I made it, so I'm really happy with that. ** First car? My first car was a Vauxhall Corsa, black. And I bought it from... You remember Eddie? Eddie? From the coach from the reserves; he's in Blackburn I think now. ** Eddie Niedzwiecki? Exactly. His son sold it to me and my best friend's got it now. Q:Eddie Niedzwiecki? ** You sold it to Kenny? No, I gave it to him. ** You gave it to him? It's working its way through the paternity. Yeah, exactly. A:沒錯。 ** First kiss? My first kiss was when I was six, and it was at school, behind the tree. That's a long time ago. (編按: 歪國人真早熟) ** Worst haircut? Whoa. The worst haircut was... I was really young, and my parents didn't want to cut my hair. So until I was six I had really long hair, curly hair. And the day I wanted to change was a day when a man in the shop thought I was a girl. So that's why I wanted to change. ** How far did your hair go? No, I can't show you. ** Go on, show us. About here. [He points to his shoulders.] (他指著自己的肩) ** Have you any pictures you can show us of that? No, and even if I had I wouldn't show you the pictures. Definitely not. ** Did you pass your driving test first time? Of course I did. (編按: 聽說某大魔王考了兩次) ** Who was your football hero? My football hero used to be Valdo. He used to play for Paris Saint-Germain, a Brazilian player, with long hair and curly like I had. So I guess - he had the number ten as well - so I guess he was my favourite player, and that is one of my dreams to meet him, cos I never get to see him. ** Who did you most want to meet? It was Bernard Lama, the goalkeeper from PSG and France. I don't know, maybe at the time he was one of the best goalkeepers, one of the only black goalkeepers, and I used to love his style. He used to put his socks over his trousers. And I just loved him, so that was my dream to meet him. I did three years ago and... that's it really. I was really happy, but now I'm a big man so it's different. ** Worst telling-off? The worst was my father. It was after a game. We lost a game and I must've played really bad because when we got home he told me you're never gonna make it, and this was the only time I thought about stopping football cos I was really upset. And the next weekend I think I scored three goals, so that was a good thing. At the time I was really upset about that, and it really helped me with it. ** Favourite TV programme? It used to be the [insert name of some programme I can't spell]. It was a cartoon and still is one of my favourite. Yeah, it was my favourite one and is my favourite one. ** Did you have any pets? Yes, I did. It was a small dog, black collar [it makes more sense that he should say collie, but it sounds like collar], really small, really cute, he name was [GAH! I DON'T KNOW FRENCH NAMES!], and the name came from the cartoon I think, when I was six/seven. That's it really. ** Silliest thing you ever did? Definitely the day I jumped over the metallic door in Cannes. I nearly lost my finger, my life, so that was really silly. And if I could come back and not do it, I would. ** Most valued possession? The most valued thing I had in my possession was a red car and still is in my appartment in Enfield. It's still there. It's my uncle's - the brother of my father - who gave it to me when I was two. And I've still got it. ** Favourite music? Some music from the Caribbean, French Caribbean. Until the age of thirteen I didn't know much about music, apart from [blah, I don't know what he's talking about], which is a nice word for a woman, and it's really nice to dance to this music.
