Gallas stuns Arsenal by demanding two-year deal AND pay rise

William Gallas has snubbed Arsenal’s offer of a two-year deal because it
does not include a pay rise.
William Gallas 已經拒絕 Arsenal 提供的兩年合約，原因是沒有得到加薪。
Boss Arsene Wenger and club negotiators thought the defender, who is out of
contract, would settle for extending his stay at the Emirates.
教授 和 俱樂部談判代表 認為這名後衛，雖合約即將到期，但樂亦持續在 Emirates 的
球員生涯。
But Gallas and his agent Pierre Frelot, in London for talks last week,
rejected the package because the 32-year-old wants a salary increase to about
￡100,000 a week as well.
但 Gallas 和 其經紀人 Pierre Frelot，上週在倫敦的會晤中拒絕了這筆合同，原因是
32 歲的 Gallas 要求薪水也一併漲到 週薪 10萬英鎊。
Wenger wants to keep Gallas - and pals of the centre half say he wants to
stay - but he may have to buy TWO new centre halves if he carries on stalling
on this issue.
