Why Wenger and Sven are a couple of old charmers By John Cross Published 09:57 24/06/10 鏡報足球版 http://goo.gl/4p7Y Arsene Wenger has been doing a game every day for French television station TF1. 教授每天都為法國電視台 TF1 介紹運動。 That has meant he has been a regular face around stadiums and press boxes in South Africa. 那意味著，他已成為在南非的球場和新聞記者席的熟面孔了。 And every time the Arsenal manager sees a familiar face in the press corps there's always a hello, quick chat and a handshake. He's got fantastic manners. 每次 Arsenal 的教練看見媒體群裡熟識的面孔，總是會打個招呼、簡短地聊一會、並握手。他有著超凡的儀態。 The other great charmer is Sven Goran Eriksson. I admit it. I was one of the press pack who would often sit in the front row of press conferences and give Sven a hard time when he was England manager. 另一個人就是 Sven Goran Eriksson。我得承認，當 Eriksson 還是英格蘭隊教練的時候，我總是在新聞發佈會坐在前排發問不少尖酸的問題。 And yet when Eriksson took over at Manchester City, there was always a smile, a hello and a handshake for those that gave him stick. 當 Eriksson 接掌 Man City 之際，他總是對批評他的人予其微笑、打個招呼並與他們握手。 It's the same in South Africa. He always stops for a chat in mixed zones and says hello. A real charmer. If only every manager was as pleasant as Wenger and Eriksson. 在南非也不例外，總會在混合採訪區(mixed zone)停住當下的對話而跟你打招呼。實在是一個真正有魅力的人。但願每個教練都像教授和 Eriksson 一樣地友善。＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊教授實在是很有魅力，連甩外套都那麼有魅力~~~ 至於 Eriksson (綽號：手機人，因為和手機品牌Sony-Ericsson相似)，我就沒什麼感覺 Goal!
