消息來源:http://tinyurl.com/c3agvr5 Spanish starlet puts Chelsea & Arsenal on red alert Isaac Cuenca stalls on new deal as Arsenal & Chelsea monitor developments Barcelona sensation Isaac Cuenca has put English duo Arsenal and Chelsea on red alert after stalling on a possible new deal with the club. The 20-year-old starlet has recently broken into the first-team at the Nou Camp, scoring two La Liga goals in five appearances thus far and hitting a brace in the 9-0 hammering of L'Hospitalet in the Copa del Rey pre-Christmas. However, academy graduate Cuenca is unhappy with the wages currently being offered in Catalonia, according to talkSPORT, a move which has alerted English suitors over his availability. Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas is thought to be one of those keen on the player, with the Blues happy to meet the player's wage demands in west London. The former Porto boss has made a conscious effort to rebuild the Blues' squad with young players following his arrival at Chelsea, with Juan Mata, Oriol Romeu and Romelu Lukaku three examples in the summer. Cuenca would continue that trend if he were signed by Chelsea in January, although competition is expected to be fierce if they want the attacking midfielder at Stamford Bridge. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also an admirer of the player, with the Frenchman enjoying a track record of bringing players to England from the Nou Camp and enjoying success at the club. Former club captain Cesc Fabregas is the biggest example, whilst teenagers Hector Bellerin and Jon Toral also joined the Gunners' academy at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the year. Cuenca's style of play would also fit well within the Arsenal camp, with his preferred wide position suiting the 4-3-3 formation used in north London under Wenger.
