Afternoon update: Arsene’s press conference, Cesc, Dann, Mata, Eboue by GilbertoSilver Gunnerblog http://goo.gl/7GL6R Greetings all. Wipe away those tears and sit down for your second blog of a big day for Arsenal. It’s been busy for me too, but I’ve managed to keep an eye on the traumatic events at our beloved club. 哈囉。拭去難過的淚水，並為你們在這重要的一天報導關於 Arsenal 的消息。雖然工作事務繁重，但我仍緊盯著自己所愛的俱樂部隨時可能會發布的壞消息。 First up, at 9am, was Arsene’s press conference. Reading the quotes coming in I was quite sure that our manager had cracked under the strain and gone completely mad. It seemed for all the world as if The Emperor was indeed well and truly naked, and frankly it was becoming a little awkward and embarrassing. 顯然這些針對傳聞的回應帶著摩拳擦掌的憤怒口氣。看起來就像國王被剝個精光、赤裸裸地呈顯在眼前，但事實上也令人感到笨拙而羞愧。 Until, that is, I saw the video. You can have a watch of it here. It proves that, as ever, context is everything. And the aim of that game is “give nothing away; disturb the squad as little as possible before the Newcastle game”. What’s very clear to me is that Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri due to depart imminently. There are conflicting stories coming out of the two clubs on this one, and the smart money is on the move being finalised on Monday. I for one won’t be saying my goodbyes until he’s definitely off. New boy and possessor of “exceptional qualities” Alex Chamberlain inherits Denilson’s 15, suggesting the Brazilian probably won’t ever be back, whilst Ryo Miyaichi takes 31, Jenkinson 25, and Szczesny downgrades his 53 to a 13. One the major reasons for the delay in announcing the numbers was that Gervinho wanted compatriot Eboue’s 27, but the club were waiting for the right-back to be sold. Now, they’ve decided to just give it to him anyway, leaving Eboue without a squad number. It’s safe to assume he’ll be joining Cesc and Nasri in leaving the club before August is out. 最後要說的是，俱樂部宣布 2011/12 新賽季的陣容成員。新人且擁有“傑出能力”的 Alex Chamberlain 繼承 Denilson 的 15號，而後者有傳聞說他不會再回來了；至於宮市亮(Ryo Miyaichi) 則是31號、Jenkinson 25號、以及 Szczesny 從 53號變成 13號。之所以會遲至今天才公布球衣號碼的原因之一是，Gervinho 想要隊友 Eboue 的 27號，但俱樂部得等到這名右後衛售出才可決定。現在官方決定直接給 Gervinho 27號，Eboue 則是空號。可以說八月底前，他也加入 Cesc 和 Nasri 的離去行列。 Right.
