164 Wilson Hart R/R 3B 11.02.1082
6'2" 215lbs(4yrs) U Southern California
Comments:Solid,evenly proportioned.Athletic fram.Similar to Ben Broussard.
Quick, compact stroke .Proper bat trigger.Consistent hard contact.
Strength loft in swing.Makes all routine plays.Tough competitor
BA' scouting report
Junior 3B Billy Hart may be the best of USC’s potential draft picks after Jeff
Clement. A backup quarterback on the Trojans' back-to-back national
championship football teams, Hart hasn’t played a lot of baseball in his
college years but his bat is a projectable.
194 Brandon Barnes R/R LF 05.15.1986
6'2" 210lbs(JR) Cypress Col
224 Timothy Johnson R/R SS 10.15.1986
6'1" 180lbs(HS) Wissahickon Senior HS
254 Koby Clemens R/R 3B 12.04.1986
5"11" 200lbs(HS) Memorial HS
BA's scouting report
Koby's dad Roger won the clinching game of the 1983 College World Series for
Texas before launching a Hall of Fame career in the majors. Though he has thrown
two no-hitters and his velocity has climbed into the 90s at times this spring,
he projects more as a third baseman. His best tool is his power, and he also
has arm strength and decent agility at the hot corner.
284 Jordan Meaker R/R RHP 09.22.1986
6'6" 220lbs(HS) Flower Mound HS
Comments:Big RH similar to Matt Morris.Throw a FB that bores into a RHH.
Breaking ball has tight rotation that could go for either a curve
or a slider .Can change speeds and locationg effectively
314 Allen Langdon L/R OF 09.07.1986
5'11" 220lbs(HS) Eagle HS
Comments:powerful ,compact body.Excellent overall strength.
Built like Brain Giles .Good Set-up ,balance ,rhythm
in hitting approach .Short to ball w/ avg bat speed.
strength in slight uppercut swing.HR Power to all fields.
Strong ,durable corner
BA's scouting report
OF Allen Langdon established himself as the state’s top prospect with a strong
showing at last summer’s Area Code Games. He reaffirmed his status by hitting
.470 with seven homers this spring. At a thick 6-feet and 225 pounds with
short arms and legs, Langdon is built along the lines of Padres outfielder
Brian Giles. He has similar power potential from the left side, but his other
tools grade out below-average. Landgon has been home-schooled but plays sports
at nearby Eagle High. In addition to baseball, he was a middle linebacker on
the football team. He has committed to Oregon State, but is considered the most
likely to sign of all the Beavers recruits if he's drafted in the top 10-15
rounds, as expected.
