Van Exel vows to be 'good Nick'

I wasn't able to do what I had done in the past, and that got me into moody mood swings," Van Exel said. 真的是這樣才讓他不高興的嗎？這點還是有請Warriors' fan 指點了！:p不過既然都已經來到Portland，他大可換個心情，看是當個稱職而極具暴發力的sixth man ；或是和MightyMouse 競爭starting PG 。當然Nick的傷勢應該是沒有大礙了（至少從二月二十八日之後，他就沒有上場比賽了，這段時間夠他復原了吧！至少在文章中是提到：it's not 100 percent, but healing。:D），如果他能重拾在Lakers時期的極積心，再差也有Mavericks 時期的”暴發力”（XD）的話，對新球季的拓荒者隊會有很大的幫助的。:) The Blazers already have enough belief in Van Exel that coach Maurice Cheeks says he plans on playing him 30 minutes a game in a three-man rotation with point guard Damon Stoudamire and shooting guard Derek Anderson. 　由上面這一段來推測拓荒者隊未來的後場情況如下： SG：Derek Anderson / Richie Frahm or Qyntel Woods PG：Damon Stoudamire / Nick Van Exel / Sebastian Telfair 當然我知道Qyntel Woods以及Telfair 可能會得到極少的上場時間，不過就Telfair 的部分，拓荒者隊是著眼於他的未來性，他倒可以從這兩名veteran players 的身上學到很多驗經。當然等新球季結束後， Damon 以及Nick的contract都會完結，屆時的拓荒者隊將會進入一個新的境界。（到那時的團隊薪資僅$19.12million 左右） Van Exel said he will probably wear uniform No. 19 with the Blazers, because rookie Sebastian Telfair already has his favorite No. 31.
