It should come as no surprise, but the rumors are starting to heat up
regarding the possibility of Geoff Petrie leaving his position in Sacramento
to assume a similar role in Portland.
Case in point: In his weekly TNT Insider segment (that's a video link by the
way), David Aldridge floats the idea that Petrie's waning influence in the
Kings front office, mostly due to an increased in pressure from the meathead
Maloof brothers, coupled with the resignation of President/GM Steve Patterson
could lead Petrie to move north and assume some kind of position with the
Blazers.
