Part VI - What do you get an NBA star for his birthday?
Brandon Roy celebrated his 24th birthday on July 23, but he did so in
typically understated fashion. No party. No night out on the town.
He shot pool for two hours with friend and neighbor, New York Knick Jamal
Crawford, but then spent the rest of the day with his family. They had
dinner, birthday cake and then watched movies, including King Arthur and the
Knights of the Round Table.
wasn't surprising that Roy is not one to favor big, expensive gifts.
"It's more about the thought for me,'' Roy said.
That's why his favorite gift was from his fiancee, Tiana.
"She got me a big ol' picture of me and my son,'' Roy said. "It's not here
yet, but I got a smaller version of it. I'm going to put the little one in my
locker.''
Roy said he plans this season to heavily decorate his Rose Garden locker with
family pictures, and hopes his teammates follow suit.
"It's like in school, when you have cubby holes, and you put stuff in there
that reflects your personality,'' Roy said. "I think it's fun. I think it's
something a lot of guys would want to do but ... I just think if I do it
first, then guys might be open to it.''

他花了兩小時和鄰居好友們玩撞球，包括尼克後衛Jamal Crawford
其他的時間都跟家人在一起，還看了兩部電影
"亞瑟王"和"黑暗騎士"(老實說..這兩部我都覺得普通而已)
愛家的Roy準備夏季把他在Rosr Garden的更衣室
裝飾他和他家人的合照，真是個好男人 (但是好娘 逃~~~~~)
