The Seattle native who attended Garfield High, now lives well out in the suburbs in Renton, Wash. "The biggest thing for me ... Now I'm starting to think, do I want to stay in Portland year round?'' Roy said. "Coming home is tough to deal with, your friends ... there are so many requests. I just get to the point where I hang out here (home) all the time.'' Roy realizes he will draw attention in Portland, too, but thinks it would be better. "In Portland I can kind of fly under the radar,'' Roy said. "There is not as much family. It's easier to stay away in a bit. The people in Seattle act like they know me. And people in Portland are more like a fan. Like 'Brandon! It's going to be great!'... Where the people here ... it's like I have to be careful. Everybody wants to be my best friend.''
