Those numbers make it hard for a team to win. ‧ Even though active defense is a big part of the reason to play him, in theory, he averaged just nine tenths of a steal per 36 minutes. This is especially worrisome if you believe, as I do, that the steal measure is a bit of a marker for players with good hands. ‧ 3.1 turnovers per 36 minutes. Not terrible, but plenty of rookie point guards do better. ‧ 4.5 fouls per 36 minutes. Some insight into what's causing those turnovers ... and confirmation that there's stuff yet for him to figure out about NBA efficiency. The good news about this number: The NBA will swear it's not true, but don't you believe playing the same way as a sophomore would result in fewer foul calls? 改進： ‧ To play alongside Brandon Roy, I think he'll need to be able to shoot well enough to keep Roy from constant double teams. ‧ He'll need to make a name for himself as a guy who can slow really fast guards.
