外電訪問,無聊可以看看 http://www.clubblazers.com/blazers-discussion/monday-courtside-t2066.html Summary * Kevin Pritchard o Paul Allen enjoys the draft the most over trades and free agency. o They must have 200-300 different type of mock drafts. o He thinks Ricky Rubio will have a very bright future in the NBA. o He sees Stephen Curry as a quick trigger / shooter and will go very high in the draft. o Some of the best trades come on the day of the draft when teams will make better offers or accept lesser offers. o More and more teams are rebuilding their teams like what Portland did. * John Hollinger, ESPN NBA Insider o He picks Lakers to repeat in 2010. o Trevor Ariza, Jason Kidd, Ramon Sessions, Mike Bibby would be good for the Blazers. o He would say Trevor Ariza is a better fit for the Blazers than Hedo Turkoglu * Chris Monter, CollegeBasketballNews.com o The last three years he said the blazers are his number one team for doing well in the draft. o He expects the Blazers to be very busy on draft day. o He thinks Tyler Hanbrough would be a good backup PF for the Blazers. o He doesn't think the Blazers will keep all five draft picks and will probably use a couple of draft picks to stash overseas. * Merlin 「Mike Rice」 Predictions o Martell Webster and Nicolas Batum are the SFs of the future. o No Travis Outlaw or Steve Blake in the future o He sees Steve Nash as the starting PG for the Blazers to mentor Jerryd Bayless o He sees both Petteri Koponen and Joel Freeland renounced before the end of June to free up more money for free agency. o He sees Greg Oden to get more shots next season and makes the need for a free agent SF not necessary. o Rice thinks it will be a marvelous draft night of watching Pritchard go to work Kevin Pritchard * Paul Allen is involved in all things with trades, free agency and drafts. * If there was one thing Allen likes and that is the draft. He challenges Pritchard's staff with finding good players in the draft. * Pritchard ranks players by position and then do a mock draft. They must have at least 200-300 mock draft scenarios. * They review the mocks and then decide whether they want to go after a particular player or not. * This is a draft of the eye of the beholder. There is at least seven players that could go at #7. * Rubio competed at the highest level in the Olympics and did well against Chris Paul and Deron Williams, which was impressive. He also played off the bench at the highest level of competition in Europe at age 18. He has played professional ball since he was 15. He competes against men right now and he will have a very bright future in the NBA. * Pritchard's really likes his European scout, Jason Fellipe (sp?). Jason has done an amazing job for the Blazers. Jason was involved in deciding to draft Batum, Fernandez, Rodriguez, Freeland and Koponen. Jason is on top of the Ricky Rubio situation. * Curry is unique, he see's him as a quick trigger / shooter that will get his shot off, catch and shoot player, that will go high in the draft. * Chad Buchnan, Director of Scouting took what Pritchard started and has taken it to a new level of player data. * Some of the best trades during a draft come together the day of the draft as teams realize what they have for best offers. * There is a lot of teams that feel they are one player away from the playoffs of a championship. * There are a lot of teams wanting to move up and some want to move out of the draft. * Kevin is seeing more and more teams rebuilding their teams the way the blazers have done. Which makes it harder to get deals done. John Hollinger * He picks the Lakers to win the NBA championship in 2010 * With the problems the Lakers have had with Bynum and Farmer fading in the 2nd half of the season and still win a championship. * He thinks Stan Van Gudy overachieved with the Magic. * He thinks everyone is looking for Pritchard to make a major move either in the draft or free agency or both this summer. * He didn't think any of the players that were available for what they had to give up in the last Feb trade deadline was worth it. * Trevor Ariza, Jason Kidd, Ramon Sessions, Mike Bibby would be good for the Blazers. * Hollinger thinks that if Jameer Nelson didn't get hurt, the Magic would have had a good chance at winning the championship. * Hollinger thinks that if Hedo Turkoglu wanted $10M or more that the Magic will probably let him go. * He thinks the better player between Trevor or Hedo, is Trevor because he is younger and a better fit for the Blazers. Chris Monter * He thinks the Blazers have had the best drafts in the last three years. He expects the Blazers to be very active in this year's draft. * He would not want to bet a whole lot of money that the Blazers will be keeping their #24 pick. * This is a unique draft of deep PGs and he thinks that his top ten PGs will all go in the first round. * Ricky Rubio is the 「X」 factor of the draft and is still an unknown. Not sure about his ability to guard the good guards like Chris Paul and Deron Williams. Rubio still needs to show he can hit the outside shot consistently. Rubio is a very good passer and running the offense. He will struggle for a few years in getting used to the NBA, but will do well once he adapts. * Johnny Flynn is moving up in the draft and has had some very good workouts. * Backup PF – there is some good PFs in the draft, but it would be much better for the Blazers to get a free agent that could step in. * Tyler Hansbrough has moved up the draft. He looks at players that have been winners and Tyler has led his H.S. team to a state title in Missouri and help lead North Carolina to a championship. He may not be a starter in the league, but will be a very good player off the bench and will be the type of player that will be around for the next 10-12 years in the NBA. He is one of the most ready players that could help Portland right away off the bench. * He thinks Tyler Hansbrough will go in the lottery to late teens. * He doesn't think Portland will keep all five picks, but may pick a couple of players to stash over in Europe. * Austin Daye will be a good player in a couple of years. His upside is good and will need to gain weight, but could be a good player in the NBA. Merlin aka Mike Rice * SFs of the future will be Martell Webster and Nicolas Batum * He sees no Travis Outlaw * With Greg Oden improving and getting more shot opportunities, Merlin does not see the Blazers spending their free agent money on a SF. * He sees both Petteri Koponen and Joel Freeland renounced before the end of June to free up more money for free agency. * He sees the Blazers spending money on a free agent PG. * There is no Jason Kidd in the future. * He sees that Steve Nash will be a future PG * He sees no Kirk Hinrich in the future. There is a possibility. * He sees this free agent PG come in a trade. * He doesn't see a Nick Collison in the future, but he does see a player like him. * He sees a trade between Miami and Toronto. Where Miami will send Beasley to Toronto for Chris Bosh. * Merlin likes Mike Conley Jr., but he doesn't see Memphis trading him. * Merlin sees Jerryd Bayless as the backup PG next season and that means if they get a PG during the free agency. Something will happen to Steve Blake. * Jerryd Bayless would fit right in this year's group of PGs and he brings things to the Blazers they are missing in last year's PGs. * Merlin predicts that Bayless will average 18 PPG and 8 APG in the summer league and convince Nate and Kevin he can be a starting PG for the Blazers. * He sees this starting PG as a mentor to Bayless and tutor him for a couple of years. * Bill Bayno may not be a big man who played in the NBA. A lot of very good players make the worst coaches. He sees someone like Bill Bayno as a good teacher for Greg Oden. Hosts Comments * (MR) – Hollinger stats - 9 of the top 10 teams that finished in opponent scoring made the playoffs * (MR) – Hollinger stats - 9 of the bottom 10 teams in opponent scoring missed the playoffs * (MR) – Hollinger stats - Every team that missed the playoffs except Phoenix and Chicago did not have a defensive center. * (MR) - A lot of teams are looking for the Kobe Bryant, Brandon Roy, Joe Johnson, Chancey Billups type players that can run the half court offense, be a goto player and also get to the free throw line. * (MR) – Bayless has been given the keys to the summer league. So if Bayless does well in the summer league and fall camp, he may start next season. * (JA) – Mychal Thompson thinks Lamar Odom will get at least $10M * (MR) – He knows Roy likes Rony Turiaf, but he thinks what would be a better fit is Brandon Bass, Paul Milsap and even Dujuan Blair from Pittburgh would be better fits for Portland. * (AH) – He talked to a few people in the Golden State organization and Don Nelson has everybody in a state of confusion. He has guys like Jamaal Crawford that he doesn't want to use. Which is crazy. Could you imagine what a backcourt of Brandon Roy and Jamaal would be like. * (MR) – You look at our GM, where Pritchard is staying up late each night leading up to the draft while Don Nelson just took off for Hawaii on vacation. * (MR) – What kind of value would Steve Blake provide? Blake for the Blazers is very valuable as he opens things up for the Blazers while Roy takes the ball inside. * (AH) – Steve has taken his god given talent and maximized it. You don't need to trade Steve. You embrace him and put good players around him. * (MR) – If you have a player like Rafer Alston who dominated the ball would not be good for the Blazers. The Blazers do not need a PG that will dominate the ball. It will only create problems for the other players (i.e. Roy). * (AH) – The Blazers are in a better position to win a championship with Steve Blake before Houston Rockets win with Aaron Brooks. * (MR) – Rice really likes James Harden and thinks he will go in the top three. He thinks Harden will be a better pro then Curry. * (AH) – He thinks Stephen Curry will be Rookie of the Year next season. * (MR) – Rice thinks it will be a marvelous draft night of watching Pritchard go to work. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 221.169.172.177
