Langerak set to start in goal, Sokratis suspended for cup tie against
Wilhelmshaven
For their first-round DFB Cup tie at SV Wilhelmshaven on Saturday (kick-off
1530 CET), Borussia Dortmund will not only be without the injured Henrikh
Mkhitaryan, but also Sokrates. The Greek defender is serving a suspension
after being sent off with two yellow cards while playing for Werder Bremen
in their cup defeat to Preussen Munster a year ago, while Mitch Langerak will
start in goal.
Nine days before opening game in the Bundesliga at Augsburg, Borussia’s injur
situation is improving, with Sven Bender returning to full training on Thursday
after recovering from a groin injury. "The individuals involved feel they have
the problems under control," said Jurgen Klopp, adding that the recovery of
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is also ahead on schedule. "He’s well on track," said
Klopp on the Armenian who suffered an ankle ligament injury 16 days ago.
"It’s amazing how fast he can already run 1,000 metres, and the pain is also
only minor. We still won’t take any risks by starting his training with the
ball too early."
Mkhitaryan’s recovery ahead of schedule, Bender back in training
Jakub Blaszczykowski also returned to full training on Thursday. After having
recovered from a stomach bug, the Polish midfielder made an appearance in the
Super Cup against Bayern Munich (4-2), only to go down with a sore throat
after the game. Klopp said: "This happens when you have small children..."
Roman Weidenfeller, who missed the final test in Wurzburg due to back problems,
is also back in training, but will likely start on the bench against
Wilhelmshaven, though his injury concerns are not the main reason for it.
Weidenfeller is suspended for the Bundesliga start at Augsburg (red card
against Hoffenheim in the final game of last season), and therefore, to pick
up match practice, Mitch Langerak will also start in goal in Saturday’s cup
tie, as Klopp confirmed: "I intend to play Mitch on Saturday."

德甲最後一場對霍村的紅牌被禁賽,所以渣叔說他讓Langerak德國杯就先首發適應一下
另外梅西他娘恢復比預期超前,本德也恢復正常訓練,庫巴被自家小鬼傳染的感冒也好了
最後新來的蘇帕帕德國杯因為去年在不來梅吃的紅牌被罰禁賽
