Borussia Dortmund support flood victims
[7.06.] Houses, streets and fields flooded, ten thousands of people forced
from their homes - the sad pictures of the floods in large parts of Germany
have not left the people in the Ruhr area indifferent. On the contrary, as a
signal of solidarity, BVB and their foundation "leuchte auf" ("light up")
want to donate at least 100,000 euros for the victims of the floods.
"With this donation we hope we′ll be able to ease at least some of the pain
and limit initial damage," said Carsten Cramer, BVB′s Director of Sales and
Marketing. Borussia Dortmund and the "leuchte auf" foundation specifically
want to support the charity organisation "Ein Herz für Kinder" ("A Heart for
Children"), with a large portion of the entrance fees collected for the season
′s opening match at Signal Iduna Park on 6 July set aside for donation.

Family Day. The entrance fees (donated to "leuchte auf") for the opening game
are:
Adults: 5 € (West/East stands); 4 € (North stand/corners)
Reduced: 2 €
The game will be shown live on German TV channel SAT.1.
