道奇總經理戈梅斯(Brandon Gomes )今(17)日透露,因右肩不適而持續停賽的日本投
手佐佐木朗希,目前已開始使用不同重量的「負重訓練球」進行調整。
「目前還在初期階段,但今天的訓練手感不錯,接下來會逐步增加強度,目標是讓他在良
好感覺下能正常投球。」戈梅斯表示。
佐佐木5月初診斷出右肩擠壓症狀,被列入傷兵名單,5月下旬他曾短暫恢復傳接球訓練,
但在近日面對巨人隊的3連戰期間,雖然有隨隊,但未進行任何傳球。
總教練羅伯斯(Dave Roberts)稍早解釋,佐佐木約1周前接受止痛注射後,再次進入禁
投狀態,「他目前不是可以進入正式調整的狀態,因此,我們願意等待他到他覺得準備好
了為止,只要他本人未完全放心,我們不會強行讓他投球。」
道奇方面強調,佐佐木的康復進程將由他本人主導,尊重其身體回饋與心理狀態,不會急
於安排復出。
