Exclusive: LAFC advancing in talks to sign Son Heung-min from Spurs
Los Angeles FC are advancing in talks to sign Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heu
ng-min, GIVEMESPORT understands. The South Korea international has one year left
on his Tottenham contract, but Spurs are willing to sanction an exit this summe
r.
LAFC believe a transfer is possible towards the end of the summer window, and ar
e now close to agreeing terms with Son.
LAFC face competition from Saudi Arabia for Son, with dealmakers pursuing him si
nce 2023 and yet to give up hope of pulling off a transfer either. Saudi sources
believe Son will leave Spurs this summer are are prepared to pay $40 million, w
ith add-ons, to secure his signature.
