Jones, Parica Fall From Group 16

GROUP 16 will be known as the group of death at the 2004 Taiwan World Pool
Championship.
A pair of local contenders – Po-Cheng Kuo and Chien-Che Huang – cast the
deciding blows as they knocked out Jose Parica and Jeremy Jones respectively.
'Amang' Parica, the 54 year-old Filipino legend, went down 5–2 to baby-faced
assassin Kuo in a must win match whilst US Mosconi Cup star Jeremy Jones fell
to Chen by the same score.
As a result, Nick van den Berg will edge in to the last 64 along with Jorge
Llanos.
