The boss has appealed for as many fans as possible to pack Ewood Park tomorrow night when Rovers attempt to overturn a two-goal deficit against Greek outfit Larissa. "We need as many people as possible that can get to the game - the fans could be as important as having an extra man, it really is as simple as that," said Hughes. "It is difficult midweek, we understand that, but I think the club has done its bit with the low ticket prices. The game isn't on the television either so that is another reason for attending in person. "To win by three clear goals is a big ask for us, but if we can have a full Ewood with fantastic backing, which we always get when everybody comes, it could be the difference between us going through or not. "Everybody was disappointed how we played in the first leg, so there is a point to prove in that respect, so the fact that we're behind in the tie as well just concentrates the mind and we've got to be really positive. "I've said an early goal would help us and I'll stick with that, but I think we'll have to be patient as well. I think we can't be too over-anxious of looking for opportunities or trying to force the play when maybe an extra pass will open up the game, rather than trying to play those 'eye of the needle' balls that I talk about to the players. "I think we have to show patience in our play but when the opportunity presents itself we've got to take it. "We enjoy the European nights, and we enjoy the experience of playing in Europe. I think it has helped the team and their development and we need more games in Europe. Obviously to get to the group stage that would enable us to have those games. "It is a big part of what we are trying to do here, we have got to have European football every year if possible if we are going to grow as a team and as a group of players. "If the crowd gets behind us and we get on a roll then we'll be very difficult to keep out. I think it will be a great night, I think everybody will enjoy it. It is on a knife-edge, it could go either way, so just come and enjoy it." The club is expecting a large walk-up of fans on the night of the game, fans are advised not to leave their ticket purchase until the last minute. The Darwen End ticket office will also be open from 6.00pm selling unreserved seating tickets for the Darwen End stand.
