Blackburn are unable to put a time-scale on striker Roque Santa Cruz's
absence with tendinitis.
The striker, who has had an excellent start to his Barclays Premier League
career after moving from Bayern Munich, has pulled out of Paraguay's
internationals.
Blackburn chairman John Williams said: 'Roque didn't have his scan until
Monday afternoon and he is still being observed. We do not know at the moment
how long he will be out.'
Santa Cruz's friend and former Bayern Munich team-mate Owen Hargreaves is
also suffering from tendinitis - the Manchester United midfielder is expected
to miss three weeks with the problem.
