The Toronto Blue Jays traded Adams to the Boston Red Sox on Saturday
in exchange for minor league infielder John Hattig. Adams, who signed a $1.7
million dollar free agent deal with the Blue Jays in the off-season, is 4-4
with a 3.98 ERA this season. He lost his job as Toronto's primary set-up man
earlier this season.
