Chacin to Make Rehab Start for SkyChiefs MLB.com SYRACUSE (NY) - The Syracuse SkyChiefs announced today that Blue Jays left-hander Gustavo Chacin will make a Major League Rehabilitation start on Sunday, June 30 when the SkyChiefs take on the Charlotte Knights at 6:00 PM. The 25-year old Venezuelan is 6-2 with a 5.611 ERA for the Blue Jays this season. He is currently on the 15-day disabled list and has not pitched since June 9. Chacin has already made one start for Syracuse this season - on May 25 against Norfolk - and was the losing pitcher after giving up four runs on six hits in 2 1/3 innings. Last season, Chacin was 13-9 for the Jays, making a team-leading 34 starts. His 13 wins were the most ever by a Blue Jays rookie starter in one season and he was named the A.L. rookie of the month twice. He has a combined record of 19-11 in his 43 Major League starts.
