[News] Blue Jays avoid arbitration with P Camp
TORONTO (TICKER) —The Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday agreed to terms with
pitcher Shawn Camp on a one-year contract worth $750,000, avoiding salary
arbitration with the righthander.
Camp, 33, went 3-1 with a 4.12 ERA in 40 relief appearances last season, his
first with the Blue Jays.
A five-year veteran, Camp is 13-14 with a 5.10 ERA and six saves in 236 career
games with Toronto, Tampa Bay and Kansas City.
