New Hampshire Fisher Cats (2-1) Andy Burns had a big game with two hits including a home run and two RBIs and Austin Bibens-Dirkx pitched seven solid innings but the bullpen couldn’t hold on as the Fisher Cats lost on a walk off single in the ninth. Ryan Schimpf also homered for the Cats while Brad Glenn and Mike Crouse both had extra base hits of their own. J.A. Happ threw his first rehab assignment since hitting the DL at the end of March and allowed two earned runs in the third. An eight-pitch walk, which was followed by a double, ground out and line drive base hit, tied the score but Dunedin quickly answered back with Derrick Chung and K.C. Adonys Cardona couldn’t find the strike zone and took the loss in what was a bit of a disappointing afternoon for the Lugs staff. Thon and Jason Leblebijian were the only two players to manage a base hits, both with singles.
