Gilberto Silva is a combative central midfield player, who featured in
every minute of Brazil's victory at the 2002 FIFA World Cup.
His ability to subdue opposition midfields while playing the holding role
allows his more creative team-mates the freedom to express themselves.
However, he is not without attacking abilities and, with his English club
Arsenal, scored the fastest goal in UEFA Champions League history after
just 20 seconds in a match at PSV Eindhoven.
Has won the 2004 Premiership title and the 2003 and 2005 FA Cups during
his time at Arsenal.
