Question: How can I get a free autographed photograph from Chipper?
Answer: I get about 5,000 letters a year requesting things such as
signed items, tickets, and personal meetings.
Many of the letters include items that fans want signed.
I got so far behind (about 10,000 items)
that I had to just completely stop signing all items sent in,
and the requests for other things got lost in the process.
So, I started a system in 2000
where I would personally sign about 5,000 photos a year for fans
that wrote into the website.
I eventually got caught up on the some 20,000 letters, and now,
every fan writing in will receive a signed photo personally signed my me.
In order to get a signed photo, you must send in a note and a self-addressed,
stamped envelope to the Braves address in care of Chipper Jones
and you will eventually get a signed photo back from me.
REMEMBER, ONLY ONE PHOTO PER PERSON.
Please allow all fans to get the benefit of this program.
It can take up to a year or so to get a photo back,
but if it is longer than that email me at Ask Chipper
and we'll check on the status.
