McLouth's bat earns him lineup spot PITTSBURGH -- Nate McLouth, who has been used only as a pinch-runner and a late-inning defensive replacement since returning from Triple-A Gwinnett on Aug. 31, made his consecutive start in center field on Monday. McLouth was sent down to the Minors earlier this year to find his offense again drove in three runs in the Braves' 10-inning, 7-6, loss to the Marlins. "We figure he's around familiar surroundings," Braves manager Bobby Cox said. "He hit two bullets yesterday."
