[消息] Brewers, Hopper agree to minor league deal
MILWAUKEE (AP)—The Milwaukee Brewers and outfielder Norris Hopper have agreed
to a minor league contract.
Hopper, who turns 31 in March, did not play in the major leagues last year.
He spent the previous three seasons with the Cincinnati Reds and appeared in
121 games in 2007, when he batted .329 with 14 stolen bases and scored 51 runs.
Hopper was traded twice in 2009, from Cincinnati to the Chicago White Sox and
then later to the Washington Nationals, spending all of his time at Triple-A.
He has played in 168 major league games, hitting .316 with one home run and 20
RBIs in 396 at-bats.
If Hopper is added to Milwaukee's 40-man roster, he would make $430,000 in the
majors and $72,000 in the minors.
