Brewers invited prospects RHPs Eric Arnett and Kyle Heckathorn, LHP Zach
Braddock, C Jonathan Lucroy and Martin Maldonado, and OF Logan Schafer to
major league spring training.
Lucroy will battle for the backup catcher's spot, although he's likely to
open the season in Triple-A Nashville, while Braddock may start turning some
heads as soon as this year. The group will join LHP Chris Capuano, LHP John
Halama, RHP Kameron Loe, LHP A.J. Murray, C Matt Treanor, OF Trent Oeltjen
and OF Adam Stern as non-roster invitees to spring training.
