Eastern Conference first round Detroit leads, 1-0
AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) --
The Detroit Pistons try to take a 2-0 lead in their best-of-seven
Eastern Conference first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks
when they meet up on Wednesday at The Palace.
In Game One on Sunday, the Pistons routed the Bucks, 108-82, as
Richard Hamilton scored 21 points and Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace
and Tayshaun Prince each recorded double-doubles.
All-Star guard Michael Redd scored just 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting
for Milwaukee, which committed 25 turnovers. Keith Van Horn, Milwaukee's
second-best shooter, made just 3-of-11 shots.
The Pistons built a 52-43 halftime lead and broke open the game in
the third quarter, when the Bucks committed nine turnovers in their
first 13 possessions. A 3-pointer by Rasheed Wallace and a layup by
Chauncey Billups increased the lead to 68-51 with 5:24 left.

at Boston, when Isiah Thomas, Dennis Rodman and Bill Laimbeer did it.
WHO'S NOT:
Bucks: Redd; Van Horn; starting F Joe Smith and C Brian Skinner scored
six points apiece.

the floor.

.... Milwaukee has lost four straight games.
