Dan Kohl steps down as Bucks' assistant GM

Bucks assistant general manager Dan Kohl, the nephew of Sen. Herb Kohl,
the team's owner, is leaving the team after 13 years to "pursue interests
outside of sports."
"I’ve been fortunate to work for an outstanding organization and with a
dedicated group of people," Kohl said in a statement issued by the team.
"While I’ve enjoyed my time with the Bucks immensely, I’m excited by the
challenge of a career outside of basketball."
Bucks general manager Larry Harris said "I'm grateful to Dan for everything
he gave to the Bucks organization. I respect his decision to pursue other
interests and wish him well."
Kohl joined the organization in 1992 as the team's salary cap specialist and
a college scout. In 1998, he was named assistant director of player personnel
-- a position he held for two seasons before moving Director of Player
Personnel in 2000.
