Guard finds limited minutes frustrating
Los Angeles — A visibly frustrated Brandon Jennings walked off the court in
the fourth quarter with the Milwaukee Bucks trailing the Los Angeles Clippers
by one point.
His time limit was up and he had to go to the bench after playing 17 minutes as
he continued his comeback from surgery on his left foot.

Jennings had 12 points and three assists against the Clippers as he played his
second game since being out for nearly six weeks. He suffered a broken fifth
metatarsal bone in his left foot during a drive to the basket in San Antonio on
Dec. 15 and had surgery five days later.
It's not that Bucks coach Scott Skiles wanted to take Jennings out at that
point in the game, but Skiles was given a strict 18-minute playing limit by the
training staff. Jennings had been on a 12-minute limit when he returned to the
court Saturday night against New Jersey.

"I'm just going with what the medical staff says and how long he can play,"

of three-pointers in the first half and made two strong moves to the basket in
the fourth quarter and scored a pair of layups. He was 5 for 13 from the field
after going 0 for 3 against the Nets.
"I felt real good," Jennings said. "When my first shot went in the basket that
took a lot of pressure off. In the second half I tried to get to the rim a
little bit more.

Jennings was named Tuesday to the sophomore team in the annual rookie-sophomore
game Feb. 18 during all-star weekend.

Just when the Bucks were starting to get healthier with the return of Jennings
and Carlos Delfino and the anticipated return of guard John Salmons, Bogut
suffered another setback.
That's the way it has been for the Bucks as they have fallen to 19-27 with two
games remaining on their final western trip, against Phoenix and Thursday at
Golden State.

"We've just got to really get healthy, honestly," Bucks forward Corey Maggette

"He's very talented, very smart," Maggette said. "He's the prototypical player
you want. He works hard; he doesn't talk trash.
"He stays down the street from me out here (in Los Angeles). It's good to see
him do that and the way he's recovered from the broken kneecap. He just hustles
, man, and he's a really good player."
Griffin finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four dunks as he
made a last pitch to gain a spot on the Western Conference all-star team.
