Drew Gooden is determined to return to the Milwaukee Bucks lineup, and he's
not talking about doing it next season.
He's talking about returning in about two weeks if all goes well in his
rehabilitation from the plantar fasciitis injury in his left foot.
The well-traveled power forward finally found a home when he signed a
five-year, $32 million contract with the Bucks during the past off-season.
Gooden has missed 37 games, including the last 22 since the decision was made
in late January to pursue treatment.
In an interview before the Bucks played Cleveland on Wednesday, the
29-year-old Gooden said he intends to return this season.
He has set a target date of March 23, when the Bucks play a home game against
Sacramento.
