As for Torre, he spent the day at the end of the bench talking to Wang.
"It was really boring," Torre said. "That's one thing I found out. But if you
ask him a question, he gives you a funny answer."
From New York Times:
Torre said he did not sit near Posada in the dugout, instead finding a spot
near pitcher Chien-Ming Wang.
“I sat with Wang, which is really boring,” Torre said. “That’s one thing
I found out: There’s not a whole lot going on.”
But that will not be a problem in Game 1 of the Yankees’ playoff series
Thursday, because Wang will be on the mound, and Posada will be behind the
plate.
