內容一樣是Wang歷年數據為主,不過在四、五段有提到勇士隊先發輪值現況 勇士現在只有四個比較確定的先發投手 另外有兩個開完TJ復健最快也要明年四月後半才回來 所以簽下Wang就是為了增加先發深度以備不時之需 縮址:http://goo.gl/aooMQv 原連結: http://m.braves.mlb.com/news/article/101041956/braves-sign-right-hander-chien-ming-wang-to-minor-league-deal Braves sign Wang to Minors deal with spring invite Atlanta hopes oft-injured righty can add depth to organizational starting pitching By Mark Bowman / MLB.com | @mlbbowman | 1:57 PM ET PHOENIX -- With just four non-rehabbing, Major League-ready pitchers currently in their system, the Braves started to add organizational starting pitching depth on Monday by signing the oft-injured Chien-Ming Wang to a Minor League contract that includes a Spring Training invite. Wang has not made more than 15 Major League starts in a season since he recorded consecutive 19-win campaigns for the Yankees in 2006-07. The 34-year-old Taiwanese right-hander made a total of 22 big league starts from 2011-13 while pitching for the Nationals and Blue Jays. He spent this past season making a combined 28 starts for the Reds and White Sox at the Triple-A level, pitching to a 4.12 ERA in 172 2/3 innings. While Wang might be considered a longshot to begin the 2015 season with Atlanta, he at least provides some of the starting pitching depth the Braves will focus on adding during their roster reconstruction process. As things currently stand, Julio Teheran, Mike Minor, Alex Wood and David Hale are the only internal candidates to be part of Atlanta's starting rotation to begin next season. The Braves will have to decide whether to keep Kris Medlen and Brandon Beachy, a pair of arbitration-eligible pitchers who are both attempting to return from a second Tommy John surgery. Even if they do not experience any setbacks, Medlen and Beachy would likely not be ready to pitch at the Major League level until the second half of April. The Braves also have to account for the fact that Wood and Minor were both scratched from their final regular season starts with what were hoped to be minor ailments. Wang finished second in the balloting for the 2006 American League Cy Young Award and led all AL pitchers with his 38 wins in 2006-07. He went 8-2 with a 4.07 ERA in the 15 starts he made for the Yankees in '08 before suffering a significant right foot injury (torn Lisfranc ligament) that sidelined him for the remainder of the year and derailed his promising career. Wang sustained a right shoulder injury while posting 9.64 ERA in 12 appearances (nine starts) for the Yankees in 2009, and he didn't pitch in the big leagues again until '11. He made a total of 16 starts with the Nationals from 2010-12 and then made the six starts for the Blue Jays after being added to Toronto's roster on June 11, 2013. In eight Major League seasons from 2005-13, Wang is 64-32 with a 4.37 ERA in 136 outings (126 starts), spanning 792 1/3 innings.
