Stepanek agreed to be available for selection in next year's Davis Cup, Josef Nechutny, secretary general of the Czech tennis federation, said Wednesday. The Czechs will host Belgium in the World Cup first round, which is to be played Feb. 8-10. Stepanek, ranked 35th, returned to the Czech team last month for the first time since 2004 due to a dispute with Czech officials. He beat Stanislas Wawrinka in the decisive match of the Sept. 21-23 playoff series in Prague to give the Czechs a 3-2 win over Switzerland, whose team included Roger Federer.
