Agnieszka Radwanska is the fourth player to qualify for the singles field at
the TEB BNP Paribas WTA Championships - Istanbul 2012, which will feature the
world's Top 8 singles players and Top 4 doubles teams and will be held at the
Sinan Erdem Arena from October 23 to 28, 2012.

"Agnieszka is having the best year of her career by winning three WTA titles
and earning a spot in the Wimbledon final," WTA Chairman & CEO Stacey Allaster
said about the latest qualification. "In addition to being an admirable and
inspiring champion, Aga is an amazing ambassador for women's tennis and it
comes as no surprise that she was voted as Fan Favorite last year."

"I am looking forward to returning to the WTA Championships this year,"
Radwanska said. "This is a goal for every player at the start of the season and
I'm so happy to have made it. The WTA Championships is the biggest WTA event of
the year and I look forward to playing against the best in the world."

Radwanska had been a fixture in the Top 10 for years but has taken it to a
whole new level this year, reaching the quarterfinals or better at 10 of her
first 11 tournaments (including winning three WTA titles, all at the Premier
level, at Dubai, Miami and Brussels), reaching her first Grand Slam final at
Wimbledon and making it as high as No.2 in the world (she is currently ranked
No.3).

Radwanska was the first Polish woman since 1939 to reach a Grand Slam final.
The first three singles qualifiers were Victoria Azarenka, Maria Sharapova and
Serena Williams. Three doubles teams have already qualified for the four-team
field as well, namely Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci, Liezel Huber and Lisa
Raymond, and Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka.
