Anthony helped lead the Knicks to a 3-1 mark, averaging a league-best 29.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks. Anthony scored over 30 points in two contests. In New York's 106-99 home victory over the Phoenix Suns on Dec. 2, Anthony scored a game-high 34 points, and added six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal. Durant guided the Thunder to a 4-0 week on the strength of 25.0 ppg, 6.3 rpg and 2.5 bpg. He shot .607 (34-of-56) from the field, .462 (6-of-13) from beyond the arc, and .897 (26-of-29) from the charity stripe. Durant scored a season-high 37 points in the Thunder's 120-98 win over the Houston Rockets on Nov. 28. Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Golden State's David Lee, Houston's Patrick Patterson, Memphis' Mike Conley, Miami's LeBron James, Milwaukee's Larry Sanders and New York's Tyson Chandler.
