Beppe Signori has announced this will be his final season in Serie A,
but did not rule out a final overseas experience.
Signori宣佈這將會是他在義甲的最後一個賽季，
不過並不排除在這生涯的最後階段展開一段海外比賽的經歷。
“The next game at the Stadio Dall’Ara will be my last,” revealed the
veteran after today’s 3-1 win over Siena.
“I think it is time to say enough is enough, because a man needs to
realise when he has no more motivation. I waited until Bologna ensured
safety before making this official.”
Signori在今天以三比一擊敗Siena的比賽之後說：
「下一場在Dall'Ara體育場的比賽將會是我在Bologna的最後一場比賽，
我想該是結束的時候了，因為當你已經再沒有那種幹勁時，你就必須有此體認了。
我一直等到確定Bologna在積分榜上的位置安全了才決定正式宣佈這件事。」
The 37-year-old had claimed he would carry on until he scored his 200th
Serie A goal, but he saw a penalty saved this afternoon and now seems to
have given up on that ambition.
在此前Signori宣稱他將會努力直到踢進自己義甲生涯的第兩百球，
不過在今天比賽中看到自己主罰的點球被救下，他似乎便已經放棄了這項目標。
“Perhaps I could play in a less difficult and strenuous League,”
added Signori, “and play only to enjoy myself.”
他補充說明：
「或許我會去競賽強度比較不那麼激烈的聯賽去，讓自己享受踢球的快樂就好。」
The former Lazio hero had been heavily linked with a move to the lucrative
Qatar League that currently boasts stars such as Gabriel Batistuta, but a
Premiership option is also open to him.
目前Signori正與卡達方面有密切的聯繫，不過英超方面也有球隊對他提出邀請。
“I spoke with Coach Carlo Mazzone and President Gazzoni-Frascara,
but nobody knew I would make this announcement today – not even my wife!”
Signori又說：「我曾經跟主教練Mazzone與俱樂部主席Gazzoni-Frascara談過，
不過沒有人知道我將會在今天作出這項聲明，連我老婆都不知道！」
When asked why he then decided to call it a day at this point of his
career, Signori claimed it was a wide number of reasons.
“There is no conflict with the club,” he assured. “Quite simply you
need to understand when the stress, fitness worries and psychological
pressure becomes too much. After a long career I think it’s time to
say enough, but that doesn’t mean I’ll stop playing altogether.”
當被問及為什麼要在此時作出這樣的決定，他說：
「我跟俱樂部方面沒有任何摩擦，你們要瞭解的是，
這很單純的就是比賽強度、體適能的考量、心理壓力等層面，
都已超出我能負荷的程度了，在經歷了這樣長的職業生涯之後，
我想是時候作結束了，不過這並不表示我將會完全停止踢球。」
