Udinese have ruled out the summer sales of star players
Vincenzo Iaquinta and Sulley Ali Muntari.
Udinese不打算出售 Iaquinta與 Muntari。
Both men have been associated with big moves,
but the Friuli outfit have maintained that they are going nowhere.
“I can exclude the possibility of a Muntari sale,”
club patron Gianpaolo Pozzo told anxious Bianconeri fans.
Udinese老闆 Pozzo跟焦慮的自家球迷說：「我可以排除出售 Muntari的可能性。」
“As for Iaquinta, there are no valid replacements for him in Italy
and it will take a foreign player a year to settle.”
「至於 Iaquinta，在義大利沒有令人信服的球員可以取代他，
而外國球員需要一整年來適應。」
Muntari, who impressed for Ghana at the World Cup Finals,
was seemingly seeking a Premiership move.

And the combative central midfielder certainly had admirers
with Manchester United and Bolton amongst the English sides keen.

Meanwhile, Iaquinta was hoping to secure a switch to one of
Italy's big clubs after his exploits over the last few seasons.
Iaquinta則希望能轉到義大利的大球會去。
The newly crowned world champion was believed to primarily be
a Roma target where he could have rejoined former Udinese boss
Luciano Spalletti.
據信他可能會去 Roma與前 Udinese教頭 Spalletti會合。
It's likely that with Juventus, Lazio and Fiorentina relegated to Serie B,
Pozzo believes that his outfit have a reasonable chance of finishing
in the top four if they keep their best players.
