The Bergamo club cruised to the Serie B title last term, but are looking to strengthen the squad to avoid an immediate return to the second tier. Recoba signed a new deal with Inter this summer and has stressed his love for the club. Atalanta have so far been quiet in the transfer market. The Nerazzurri have signed Arezzo defender Morris Carrozzieri in a co-ownership deal with Sampdoria and loaned Milan midfielder Massimo Donati.
