Christian Panucci says he doesn't expect to wear
the Italy shirt ever again.“I'm just focusing on Roma,” he declared.
Azzurri boss Roberto Donadoni was in the capital last night
as the Giallorossi beat Shakhtar Donetsk 4-0,
but the defender has cooled talk of an international recall.
義大利主教練 Donadoni昨晚在首都看 Roma以４－０擊敗 Shakhtar Donetsk，
不過 Panucci為重返國家隊一事降溫。
“The Coach was just another spectator,
not any different from all the others,” said the 33-year-old.
Panucci說：「教練不過就是又一個觀眾，跟其他人沒什麼差別。」
“I also played with Donadoni so I know him very well,
but I have nothing to do with the Nazionale any more.
I only want to think about Roma.”
「我也為 Donadoni踢過球所以我非常瞭解他，
不過我跟國家隊已經沒有任何關係了，我只想考慮 Roma。」
Panucci has won 48 caps, and scored twice,
but hasn't featured for his country since Marcello Lippi took over
from Giovanni Trapattoni after Euro 2004.

Turning to last night's victory, the former Real Madrid man
insists it wasn't as easy as the scoreline suggests.
轉而談到昨晚的勝利，Panucci堅稱比賽過程並不像比分顯示的那般輕鬆。
“It was 4-0, but one where we struggled in the first 50 minutes,”
he added.“We played great football in the final half-hour,
but the match must be evaluated as a whole.
Panucci說：「那是４－０沒錯，不過我們在比賽前五十分鐘掙扎許久，
我們在最後半小時打得非常出色，但是比賽必須以一整場來衡量。」
“Where can we get to? If we continue with this kind of performance
we can reach the Final, but we need to be very careful as there are
difficult matches ahead of us,” concluded Panucci.

不過我們需要非常謹慎，因為還有艱難的比賽在等著我們。」
Shakhtar Coach Mircea Lucescu congratulated Roma, although he believes
that the referee did a lot to aid their cause.

“Compliments to Roma for the victory and the three points they earned,
but we really dominated the match,” said the former Inter boss.

We dominated in all situations.

“Then the referee did his part, assigning a non-existing corner
before Roma's second goal and not seeing an offside on the occasion
of their third.

“After that we just crumbled, we had nothing left.
My team lacks in experience, that was clear after Francelino Matuzalem
left the pitch.”
